What should Jamaica’s civil aviation system look like in the years ahead? ✈️🇯🇲
The Government of Jamaica, through the JCAA and Airports Authority of Jamaica, is developing the country’s first Civil Aviation Master Plan (CAMP) with support from ALG Global Infrastructure Advisors and UK Civil Aviation Authority International.
The Plan will provide a long-term roadmap for the development of Jamaica’s civil aviation sector, covering areas such as safety, infrastructure, air navigation, regulation and future demand.
This week, the consultants are in Jamaica meeting with stakeholders, gathering information and carrying out site visits across the sector to build a clearer picture of the country’s current aviation system and the needs that should inform its future development.
A formal kick-off meeting was held yesterday as part of that week of activities.
