There hasn't been a post for some time and I feel the situation should be clarified.

There are some nasty rumors circulating and they need to be nipped in the bud.

I no longer exercise the coverage and privileges of my EASA Part 66, CAA ICAO and 2-Reg Licences at the Aero Club. Bob Wright will no longer be the consultant soon.

This will leave CIAS with no appropriately qualified or Licenced staff.

I believe there is already a backlog of aircraft with defects that can't be rectified or signed out due to this.

Any questions regarding Maintenance need to be addressed directly to the Committee who I'm sure will be able answer the question how aircraft can be certified with a signed original CRS/SMI or have an ARC issued with no CAMO or qualified engineers available.
