Last Friday saw the Normandy Warrior chartered by Ports of Jersey to deploy the seasonal buoys around Jersey’s harbours and bays ahead of the busy summer season ☀️⚓

While many people know us for providing a regular and reliable freight link between Mainland Europe 🇫🇷 and the Channel Islands 🇯🇪, operations like this show just how versatile our landing crafts really are.

From freight and heavy machinery transport, to buoy laying, marine construction support, beach landings and specialist charter work — our vessels are built to handle jobs that conventional vessels simply can’t 🚢💪

☀️⚡️𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘄 ⚡️☀️

After a couple of seriously hot days in Jersey, with temperatures climbing into the 30’s 🌡️, the crew are now looking forward to the forecast thunder showers rolling into Granville later this evening ⛈️

The Channel Islands have been enjoying beautiful sunshine and calm seas over the last few days, making for some stunning crossings between Mainland Europe 🇫🇷 and the Channel Islands 🇯🇪 — although we think the crew are ready for things to cool down just a little now! 😅

As always, the Normandy Trader and Normandy Warrior continues providing a regular and reliable freight link for cargo coming into Jersey and the rest of the Channel Islands from across Europe 🚛📦

☀️ Another beautiful day on the water for the crew of the Normandy Trader as she departs Granville fully loaded and right up to capacity with freight destined for Jersey 🇫🇷➡️🇯🇪

Carrying goods from all over Europe into the Channel Islands, continuing our regular and reliable freight link between Mainland Europe and Jersey.

On route this afternoon the crew also assisted a French pleasure vessel suffering engine failure, safely towing them back into Jersey.
Always happy to help fellow mariners where we can ⚓

Today saw both the Normandy Trader & Normandy Warrior heading to Granville as demand keeps growing across the Channel Islands. From single pallets to heavy machinery — if it fits, we will carry it 💪

And while others ferries are cancelled with the weather, we’re still rolling…
Currently battling our way back to Jersey with around 25- 35 knots right on the bow 🌊💨

Pretty sporty out there today, but the team keeps the freight moving 👊

Based in Jersey 🇯🇪 and sailing from Granville, we continue to provide a regular and reliable freight link for ALL the Channel Islands — with additional sailings added whenever needed.😉

Today the Normandy Trader carried out a small job for Ports of Jersey, lifting some heavy Yokohama fenders from the water and returning them safely back to their storage position on the quay ⚓️

While we are best known for providing a regular and reliable freight link between mainland Europe and the Channel Islands, our versatile landing crafts are also available for a wide range of marine shoreside & offshore operations including lifting, charter work, machinery transport, remote deliveries and specialist marine support services.
