For the first time, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express travelled from Paris to Florence. Celebrating the ritual of Villeggiatura, the journey towards encapsulated the Italian tradition of extended summer holidays.

At Villa San Michele days unfold between Guerlain Spa rituals, sound healing in the Energy Chapel, and behind-the-scenes encounters with Florence’s finest artisans - evenings, under the arches of Ristorante San Michele or in the intimacy of Antesi.

Your journey begins with a warm welcome from your personal steward, ch*****ne and caviar.

Settle in and explore your entirely private carriage.

Choose a Gallimard book from the library and discover the magical hidden tea room.

Run a bath in the freestanding bathtub and enjoy the luxury of having nowhere else to be.

Afternoon calls for an aperitif, crafted by one of the trains’s mixologists.

When dinner calls, the choice is yours. Dine in the privacy of L’Observatoire, or make your way to one of the trains iconic dining cars.

An evening with Leon Bridges, on board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.

Somewhere between Venice and Amsterdam, Leon Bridges surprised guests to an intimate live performance. Staying onboard the train in L'Observatoire
carriage, we hosted Leon as he surprised guests with his most well-known songs and unreleased music, performed in our iconic Bar Car ‘3674’.
