Why I skip airplane coffee ☕️✈️

It isn’t really about the coffee—it’s the hot water.

Onboard coffee and tea are prepared using water from the aircraft’s water system. While that water is regulated, knowing how it is stored and supplied is enough for some frequent travelers to choose something else.

My rule is simple:

☕ Coffee before boarding
💧 Bottled water onboard
🥤 Or anything sealed
