MOBILITY 4.0 | SUPPORTING CHANGE
The way we move is changing. And mobility needs to change with it.
Every day, more than 100 million journeys are made across Italy. Over 80% take place within 10 kilometres, while cars remain the most widely used form of transport, accounting for around 60% of all trips.
Tourism is changing too. In 2024, Italy recorded more than 466 million overnight stays, with non-hotel accommodation growing faster than the traditional hotel sector.
Today, people no longer travel only between stations, airports and hotels. Their journeys connect apartments, B&Bs, ports, car parks, historic centres and destinations spread across the wider area.
Mobility 4.0 must respond to this new demand: travellers are more independent in their choices, their journeys are more fragmented, and their expectations for seamless connections are higher than ever.
For Gruppo Ronca, innovation is not simply about adding more vehicles. It means understanding how mobility habits are changing and creating stronger connections between services, infrastructure and local areas, supporting people throughout every stage of their journey.
Mobility creates value when it connects people, places and opportunities.
Because when the way we live and travel changes, the way we organise mobility must change with it.
