Let’s talk about second-time travelers… because I have a very soft spot for you. ❤️🇮🇹

Maybe your first trip was 10, 15 or even 20 years ago. Venice, Florence, Rome, Sorrento… you saw the giants, fell in love with Italy and always knew that one day you would come back.

And now you are.

Does that mean we leave the giants behind this time? Not at all. They deserve to be seen again. You’ve changed, the way you travel has changed, and this time we can slow down and see Italy with different eyes.

Let’s go back to Venice, but add Murano, Burano or Padova. Back to Florence, but this time Boboli Gardens, Pitti Palace and a Florentine perfume experience.

And Rome… Rome is never finished. The Villa Medici ? been?, Via dei Coronari, the Castelli Romani or the Park of the Aqueducts.

And Sorrento? Maybe this time we stay overnight in Capri, discover Paestum or Cetara, or stop at the magnificent Reggia di Caserta or Monte Cassino.

We don’t leave behind the Italy you fell in love with. We return to her… and then show you everything you missed the first time. ❤️🇮🇹

Is this your fifth time in Italy? Maybe your sixth? Have you actually stopped counting?
Well, on this end, we’re not laughing at all. We completely understand. ❤️
In fact, we’re excited, because I truly believe Italy is one of those places you can return to time and time again and still be surprised. With so many different landscapes, traditions, dialects, flavours and ways of life, there is always another side of Italy waiting to be discovered.
And honestly… THIS is what we’ve been waiting for. 🇮🇹❤️
Because now we can go deeper.
Let’s choose ONE region and really get to know it. Sardegna? Maybe Umbria? Mmm… or shall we go all in on Liguria?
And this time, it’s not only about WHERE we go, but WHEN we go. Perhaps we travel when a tiny village is celebrating a tradition you may never even have heard of.
Because somewhere between your first trip and your fifth, the way you travel changes.
You’re no longer coming to Italy simply to see her. You’re coming back because you’ve formed a relationship with her.
And now we can introduce you to the Italy that hasn’t made it all over social media yet.

One base. More Italy. 🇮🇹
What if seeing more of Italy didn’t mean changing hotels every two days?
Sometimes it’s simply about finding the right place to call home for a little while and discovering what lies around it. Take Rome. Beyond Ancient Rome and the Vatican, there is another world waiting: the Castelli Romani, Tivoli, Viterbo, Ostia, Lake Bracciano, Trevignano and, a little further, places like Isola del Liri, Sora and San Pietro Infine.
And after a day of discovering somewhere new, you come home to Rome.
No constant packing and unpacking. Just time to settle in, explore and perhaps feel, for a few days, a little less like a traveler and more like a local.

When we travel…
Is it really about seeing glorious places? Or is it about leaving our day to day behind for a while? Having time to think. To breathe. To notice.
Maybe it’s about those moments with our children, our parents, our partners and the people we love that somehow get lost in the rush of everyday life. When we travel, time feels different.NWe talk longer. We sit at the table longer. We look around more. We are simply more present.
Perhaps that’s what travel really gives us. Time together. And if you happen to be in a country that serves up an extraordinary menu of culture, food, w**e, art, history, landscapes and beauty, well, that’s simply a plus.
And Italy does a rather good job of that. 🇮🇹 This is just one idea of what 12 days in Italy could look like. Would this journey interest you? Or would your Italy look completely different? That’s where we come in.

You know that thing in your wardrobe you bought because you absolutely loved it, and then never wore because you thought, “Where on earth am I going in THAT?”
Italy. You’re going to Italy.
This is where the leopard print comes out, the enormous sunglasses go on, and the earrings that enters the room before you do suddenly make perfect sense. Because in Italy, there is practically no such thing as overdressed. There is fabulous. There is dramatic. There is NO “Madam, it is 10:30 in the morning.”
HOWEVER, do not, and I repeat DO NOT, wear the giant horse galloping down your T-shirt from your neck to your belly button. 😂 Even Italy has limits.
If daytime is dress like you might accidentally be invited to a wedding, then evening is quite simply NEW YEAR’S EVE, BABE.
And that is really the philosophy behind it all: WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU SAVING IT FOR? Come to Italy. Bring the good stuff. 🇮🇹❤️

There are certain things Italians will notice.
Your shoes.
Your sunglasses.
Your coat.
And, obviously, your bag.
Nobody needs to ask where it’s from. Nobody needs to turn it around looking for the logo.
They’ve already seen it.
Because the really good stuff doesn’t need to shout.
It’s in the leather.
The craftsmanship.
The hardware.
The proportions.

The details you recognize without needing to see a name. And then there’s perhaps the most Italian part of all… Carrying it as though it’s nothing special.
Meanwhile, everyone within a 20-metre radius knows exactly what it is, who it’s from, and probably which collection.

We’re in the middle of Fashion Week, but forget the labels for a minute.
Because Italian style isn’t really about what you’re wearing.
It’s the fact that you got dressed.
There’s intention behind it. Even when it’s casual, it rarely looks accidental.
And this is what I always tell people coming to Italy:
During the day, dress as though you’re going to a wedding.
Not your wedding. Calm down. 😂
A nice daytime wedding.
Good trousers. A great dress. Proper shoes. Sunglasses. Something fabulous thrown over your shoulders.
And if you look in the mirror and wonder,
“Am I a little overdressed?”
Perfect.
You’re probably ready to leave the house in Italy.

I’m going to say something a little controversial. If you come to Lake Como just to catch the ferry to Bellagio, have lunch and leave, I think you’re missing a huge part of what makes this place special.

Because you can walk ancient paths that once connected tiny lakeside villages long before there were roads. You can step inside small workshops and discover the silk industry that made Como one of Europe’s great silk-producing centres. And you can wander into villages where there isn’t a checklist of monuments to see — the whole point is simply being there.

Getting lost in the little streets. Sitting down in a family-run trattoria. Taking the slow ferry instead of rushing from one famous stop to another.

Bellagio is beautiful. But Bellagio is not Lake Como

Everyone wants to see Lago di Braies. And YES, you absolutely should. But please don’t come all the way to the Dolomites just for Braies. 😂

Yes, the water really is that colour. Yes, those little wooden boats are gorgeous. But whenever someone tells me, “Ana, I want to go to Lago di Braies,” my immediate thought is: “Wonderful. And what are we doing with the REST of the Dolomites?”

Because Braies is beautiful. Absolutely. But it’s just one small piece of an extraordinary part of Italy.

Braies is one moment. The Dolomites are the journey. ❤️🇮🇹🏔️
