$250 in America. €180 in Italy. Same family. Same weekly grocery shop. 👀🛒
We put American vs Italian grocery prices to the test — and the difference shocked us.
🇺🇸 Cape Cod, Massachusetts:
$250 for just 4 bags.
$11 speck. Neon-orange Fanta. An entire WALL of sugary cereal. 😳
(And yes… someone bags your groceries for you. 👑)
🇮🇹 Termoli, Molise:
€180 for 8 FULL bags for our family of 5.
Fresh local produce. Quality food. W**e from €3. 🍷
And somehow… it felt like we bought twice as much.
So what would YOU choose?
🇺🇸 Convenience + huge selection
vs.
🇮🇹 Fresh food + Mediterranean lifestyle + better value?
Be honest: where would you rather do your weekly shop? 👇
And if this grocery bill has you thinking… “Maybe Italy isn’t such a crazy idea after all” 🇮🇹😉
We help families make the move — from finding the right property to visas and relocation.
