5 Days, 4 Nights Sahara Desert Tour From Marrakech - “Group Tour”

Day 1: Fly to Marrakech...go to hotel, explore Old Town day/night
Day 2: Marrakech - Tinghir - we’ll start the day by crossing the High Atlas mountains through Tizi N’Tichka which is the highest mountain pass in Morocco in a stunning change of scenery around each curve. All the way to our main stop of the day which is the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is a world UNESCO heritage site and used as a filming location for so many well-known movies (Game of Thrones, the Gladiator, Prince of Persia...). After that we will travel along the road of the 1000 Kasbahs to the main town of Rose Valley where we will take a break before we continue to our hotel in Tinghir for the night.
Day 3: Tinghir - Merzouga - we will start our day by exploring the magnificent Todra gorges for some amazing pictures before we delve in the oasis on a walking tour with a local guide all the way to the Jewish quarter to learn about the Berber carpet manufacturing techniques, before we continue on through countless Berber villages and make a stop to dress you up in traditional Berber outfits (to see how you’d look if you were born in the desert) before we finally reach the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. - where we will drop off the luggage to be carried by 4x4s and ride camels through the dunes and sandboard towards the orange hues of the Sahara sunset, before reaching the campsite for the night.
Day 4: Merzouga - Marrakech - after breakfast, ride camels again towards the sunrise (or ATVs if you like to pump the adrenaline for an extra charge) to reach the village where we shall pack again and hit the road on the longest driving day to finally reach Marrakech by the evening (stops every 2-3 hours for food and restroom). Go to hotel and visit local areas.
Day 5: checkout of hotel, go to airport and fly home
