⚡🚛From testing to real-world collaboration! We took the next step in our testing programme, involving Coloplast in a real logistics operation with our battery-electric prototype truck in Bologna.

The vehicle carried out a selected pick-up at Coloplast’s site before transporting the goods to our Bologna Interporto warehouse putting electric transport to the test within an established customer logistics flow.

For us, real-world testing means more than measuring vehicle performance. It means understanding how new technologies fit into the daily reality of logistics, together with the people and partners who make these operations possible. 🤝

This is another step in our work to explore alternative solutions for lower-emission road freight 🎯

🏆 Two awards, two outstanding projects, one shared achievement. We’re proud to have received two awards from BSK Bundesverband Schwertransporte und Kranarbeiten e.V.:

🥇 1st place in the Heavy Transport below 120 tonnes category for the transport of the Airbus A310 to Serengeti Park Hodenhagen.
🥈 2nd place in the Heavy Transport above 120 tonnes category for our Chemical Column project in the Czech Republic.

At Saturday evening’s award ceremony in Cologne, Michael Gruber represented the teams behind both projects, whose success was made possible by detailed planning, trusted collaboration and years of experience.

A special mention goes to our colleague Martin Ludvik from the Engineering Team, who dedicated three years to planning the transport of the Airbus A310 to Serengeti Park Hodenhagen. His commitment is a great example of the expertise and dedication behind complex heavy transport operations.

Richmond Logistics Forum was an opportunity to step away from the daily routine, meet people, exchange ideas and create meaningful connections because some conversations simply work better face to face.

31 tonnes. One lowbed. One challenge: securing the load safely. 🚛💪 At the Coreum Praxistage, we put our expertise in heavy transport into practice, showing visitors how a 31-tonne load is correctly secured on a trailer. The hands-on demonstration also gave visitors the chance to compare steel and Dyneema chains and see the difference for themselves.

That’s what the Praxistage are all about: putting technologies, equipment and expertise to the test in real-life situations. And for us, there was no better way to demonstrate what safe and reliable heavy transport looks like than by doing it live!

Hydrogen has entered Milan Malpensa Airport. 🚛💧✈️

Our Scania 40 R Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV), operated as part of the European ZEFES project, has carried out real deliveries inside Malpensa Cargo City, serving handlers B3 and ALHA.

But this is not just about the truck.

The operation took place within our air freight forwarding activities, connecting road transport with the airport logistics flows that support the movement of air cargo.

Our hydrogen-powered vehicle was integrated into the real operational and digital processes of Cargo City, putting zero-emission heavy transport to the test in an environment where timing, coordination and reliability are essential.

With the support of SEA Aeroporti di Milano and Edison, we are bringing the experience gained through ZEFES into our air freight operations — exploring how more sustainable transport solutions can become part of the wider logistics chain.

From the road to the airport, we are working to make freight transport more sustainable. 🌱

Brussels, we came ready to talk about the future of logistics and we got on stage 🎤🚛 Last week, Gruber Logistics was at Trimble Insight Europe 2026, and what a couple of days it was!

🚀 Paolo Maglione, Executive Director Global Sales, and Serena Casella, Senior Manager Global Sales, took part in the opening session of the Carrier Breakout Stage, “The Blueprint for Autonomous Growth: From Manual Quoting to AI-driven Precision”, sharing their perspective on how AI is transforming the way carriers work.

💬 Andrea Condotta, Director Public Affairs, Innovation & Sustainability, also joined the programme, contributing to the conversation on the evolving relationship between shippers and carriers.

Being surrounded by people who are actively shaping the future of our industry was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and look ahead.

We came with ideas to share. We left with even more to take home.

From September 24 to 26, our apprentices represented GRUBER Logistics at the “Connect” Apprentice Event in Paderborn, meeting young people and students interested in starting their careers in logistics.

Three days, many conversations and one truck simulator! From setting up our booth and truck simulator to talking about apprenticeship opportunities, our apprentices had the chance to share their experiences and what it means to start a career at GRUBER Logistics.

Above all, it was about meeting people, exchanging ideas and discovering what young talents are looking for in their future careers.

As Wind Energy Hamburg 2026 comes to an end, we’re looking back on an incredible few days in Hamburg. 🌬️⚡

We were proud to be part of one of the key international events for the wind industry, meeting customers, partners and professionals from across the sector and discussing new projects, challenges and opportunities.
With a focus on wind energy and BESS, the conversations at our stand gave us plenty of new ideas, valuable connections and exciting perspectives on what’s ahead. 🤝

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a conversation and spent time with our team. It was a great experience and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
