A charming furnished apartment in the heart of the "borgo antico" of Nettuno overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the Nettuno marina.

Nettuno is 60 kilometers south of Rome (just south of the picturesque fishing town of Anzio). The coast between Anzio and Nettuno is known for being the WWII beach-head for the liberation of Rome. Day trips from Nettuno will certainly include Rome - but might also include visits to the castles of Sermoneta, the wine towns of Frascati, Marino and Velletri, the neolithic walls and gardens of Ninfa,

San Felice Circeo, with its National Park, and boat trips to the islands of Ponza and Palmarola - just to name a few.

We are now in Bayamo, the regional capital of a region in SW Cuba called Granma. Also the birthplace of the “father of Cuba,” Manuel Cèspedes.

Our dear friend, Alberto Jones, with whom we originally founded The Friendship Association, worked here

Over dinner, we were reflecting about how nice it was not to hear any “jingle bells” and not see any Trump stickers. We can imagine the Trumpian oligarchical o**y but feel far away from it!
