*** THIS POST IS FOR MED CRUISE FOLKS ONLY***

You are spending big money on a Med Cruise, and only spending one day before the cruise to visit Barcelona? Get with it, and spend that extra $300 per day (for 2 people) and see one of the greatest cities in Western Europe, now that the Sagrada Familia is almost complete. You should anticipate spending at least two full days in Barcelona before or after that most enjoyable cruise.

If you will be spending extra days in Rome, you must also do some planning.

If you haven’t the foggiest idea what to do in Barcelona or Rome. These two destinations are WORLD destinations, and most of the attractions require “timed tickets.” Don’t expect to arrive at the Sagrada in Barcelona without a ticket or the Coliseum. You can, but I can assure you that you will not get in. Please plan for Rome and Barcelona now. There are no better books for planning than my two best sellers. You can purchase tickets for all venues directly from the websites I list in my books. Suggest you do not book “local tours” which include the tickets. Just take a taxi to the site and use your timed tickets. My son booked a tour of the Vatican at 7AM and the tour guide never showed up!

Even Linda decided to purchase my new book.

You’ve looked at all those books. They tell you everything about Spain and Portugal, and show you beautiful color pictures of the sites, villages, and hotel lobbies. Five pounds of information on Spain and two pounds on Portugal, but you haven’t the foggiest idea where to start and how to plan a...

*** ARE YOU TAKING A MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE IN 2026 ***?
2026 is a special year in Barcelona. It is the 100th anniversary of the passing of Antoni Gaudi. He was “THE” architect of Barcelona. There will be lots of festivities and ceremonies.
