Founded in Monza on the 1993. MZ Electronic is a company manufacturer of electronic and mechanical products for the nautical market.

MZ Electronic was born in Monza in 1993 operating in the field of electronic and mechanical accessories for nautical market; MZ Electronic has always been inclined to research and development of new high technology products for pleasure and commercial boats. In 2009 the experience reached as supplier in windlasses field has been employed to create, in cooperation with ORVEA, a new mooring range, c

ompletely made in Italy, Italwinch brand. This new windlass range has innovative and high performing characteristics. This cooperation lead to the takeover of ORVEA brand and society. The growth continued with the takeover in 2017 of the Officina Navale Nanni of Viareggio. Thanks to the takeover of ONN, Italwinch proposes a range of high quality products more and more complete, for boats up to 90 meters. All ONN and Italwinch products are made to meet and exceed the requests of the most important certification agencies in the world.

The SC-030 RADIO is MZ Electronic's wireless chain counter, designed for boats where a traditional wired installation is complex or not possible.

Compatible with both horizontal and vertical windlasses, it displays chain length, speed and battery voltage on a 3.45'' TFT colour screen — directly at the helm, with no wiring between sensor and display.

Is your chain counter display completely dark? Before calling a technician or replacing parts, run through this checklist.

Most display failures on board come down to three things: power supply, fuse and wiring, or a voltage drop. The sensor is rarely the cause of a completely black screen — if it fails, the display usually still powers on but shows zero or an error.

Start with the basics. Use a multimeter. Check before you replace.
