The main business of Montanari Group is the production of gearboxes, gearless, safety devices and accessories for lifting systems. All products are manufactured by the company and distributed in 80 countries all over the world. The Montanari Giulio & C. company was founded in 1970 by Giulio Montanari and his wife. Since more than 40 years, the Montanari Giulio Group is a leader for innovation and

quality in its own market. The headquarter (management and manufacturing) of the group is in Italy – Modena where 180 people are employed in an area of 40.000 sqm. The complete and wide range of the products manufactured by Montanari Giulio, is at the service of all the companies operating in the design and production of new lifting systems or modernization of the existing ones for both room and roomless situations. The gearboxes and gearless machines produced by Montanari Giulio are synonymous of quality, durability, efficiency and reliability. The Technical Business Unit – R&D distinguishes for its capacity of developing highly customized designs able to fit even the most tailored needs. In the design and development process, special attention is paid to the efficiency, the energy saving and most important, the safety which is a priority for us. All machines are tested using high precision instruments and simulations are done in the 50 height testing tower located in Modena. Certifications Since 1996, Montanari Giulio &C. is a ISO 9001 certified company. All products are in accordance with the main applicable regulations and norms.
