🇬🇧🚄 VIRGIN UNVEILS ITS FUTURE HIGH-SPEED TRAINS TO EUROPE! .🚅

Eurostar could soon face its first major competitor on cross-Channel passenger rail services! 👀🚆

Virgin has unveiled a mock-up of its future high-speed trains as it prepares to launch international services from London to mainland Europe in 2030.

The company has ordered 12 high-speed trains from Alstom, with a maximum speed of up to 300 km/h (186 mph).

But Virgin wants to offer more than just speed — it aims to transform the passenger experience with inspiration from its airline, cruise and hotel businesses. ✨

🚆 20 DAILY RETURN SERVICES PLANNED!

Virgin Trains aims to introduce 20 daily return services between London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.

The company estimates that its plans could add almost 7.5 million seats per year to the cross-Channel rail network and create up to 1,000 new jobs.

Virgin also wants to connect its railway and airline businesses, allowing passengers to combine international train journeys with flights and earn loyalty points across its travel services.

🇮🇹 COMPETITION COULD GROW FURTHER!

Virgin isn’t the only company looking to expand cross-Channel high-speed rail travel. Italy’s Trenitalia is also expected to pursue services through the Channel Tunnel, potentially bringing another major European railway operator into the London market.
