Interrail Pass holders can now use their pass on Trenitalia France's Frecciarossa high-speed services, adding another fantastic option for exploring France by rail 🇫🇷🇮🇹

Current routes include:

🚆 Paris ↔ Lyon
🚆 Paris ↔ Marseille

Operated by Trenitalia France's modern Frecciarossa trains, passengers can enjoy comfortable seating, onboard amenities, and a premium high-speed travel experience on some of France's busiest corridors.

🚄 Big changes are coming to Italy’s high-speed rail network! 🇮🇹🇫🇷🚅

French railway operator SNCF has confirmed plans to launch services in Italy from September 2027, competing directly with Trenitalia and Italo on key routes such as Turin–Naples and Turin–Venice.

The company plans to use new double-decker TGV trains, offering around 40% more seats than current high-speed trains. Thanks to the increased capacity, SNCF says fares could be up to 20% lower, giving passengers more affordable travel options.

The move is expected to boost competition, create hundreds of new jobs, and potentially reshape the future of high-speed rail in Italy.
