People often ask how I ended up back in travel.
The truth is that I think I’ve finally found what I was always meant to do.
I joined the travel industry straight from school at 16, and I loved it.
Life then took me in a different direction.
After starting a family in my thirties, I built several businesses of my own. From retail, to property, to project management, and eventually running a guaranteed rent company. I enjoyed every challenge because I’ve always loved creating something from the ground up.
Then I lost my mum.
Losing her changed my perspective. I lost the drive I’d always had for work and knew I needed a fresh start.
Moving to the beautiful North Wales coast gave me the chance to reinvent myself. I remember asking myself, “What now?”
I even joked about becoming an influencer.
After all, I’d spent years designing and selling beautiful Italian shoes, so perhaps that was the obvious route.
Instead, I realised something.
I’d rather influence people to have experiences than persuade them to buy things.
Today, I help busy people plan perfect travel, journeys they’ve been dreaming about for years. The honeymoon they’ve waited for. The safari they’ve always talked about. The cruise they’ve never quite known how to book. The special holiday that’s been sitting on their bucket list.
Yes, I still have far too many shoes.
But I think I’ve finally found my niche.
