A postcard from Eric, Henning, Anders, Halvor, Kjetil and Peer. 🇳🇴🚴‍♂️

Norwegian cyclists are becoming an increasingly familiar sight on Sicily's roads.

Over the last few years, more and more Scandinavians have discovered what locals have always known: incredible climbs, quiet mountain roads, great food and endless opportunities to ride.

This week, Eric, Henning, Anders, Halvor, Kjetil and Peer chose Taormina as their base for a cycling holiday across some of north-eastern Sicily's most iconic routes.

From the lava fields and snow-covered summit views of Mount Etna to the green landscapes of the Alcantara Valley, every ride revealed a different side of the island.

They also explored Savoca, one of Sicily's most beautiful hilltop villages, famous worldwide for its connection to The Godfather and for the breathtaking views overlooking the Ionian coast.

Another highlight of the week was Passo di Portella Mandrazzi, one of Sicily's most legendary climbs. Featured several times in both the Giro d'Italia and the Giro di Sicilia, it has become a benchmark ascent for professional riders and a must-ride road for cyclists visiting the island.

One week.
Hundreds of kilometres.
Countless views worth stopping for.

Three areas.
Countless climbs.
One week of adventure across Sicily.

Ondra, Big Ondra, Fanda, Kudrnac, Adam and Rawman came to Sicily looking for adventure.

They started in the Madonie Mountains, explored the roads around Mount Etna, and finished their trip with one of our all-time favourites: the Godfather's Loop through the villages above Taormina.

From endless mountain roads and panoramic climbs to summit photos, local food, and well-earned aperitivos at the end of the day, they experienced a little bit of everything Sicily has to offer on two wheels.

Postcard from Elena and Nina.

Two sisters from Austria, passionate cyclists, came to Sicily to discover some of our favorite routes and experience the island on two wheels.

During their stay, they explored Mount Etna, climbed the beautiful Portella Mandrazzi, rode our famous Godfather’s Loop, discovered the wild Alcantara Valley, and enjoyed the quiet roads through the vineyards around Etna.

Sea views, mountain roads, small villages, long climbs, perfect weather, and many unforgettable kilometers on our Basso Astra road bikes.

Some rides are about performance.
Others become stories you will remember forever.

This week, Tobi, Schurli, George, Peterle, Pauli and Michi came from Austria to Sicily to celebrate a special moment in a truly unique way: a bachelor party… on two wheels!

Between the slopes of Mount Etna and the beautiful coastal roads from Taormina to Syracuse, every ride was the perfect mix of sport, friendship, adventure and lots of laughs.

We brought our Basso Astra bikes.
They brought their positive madness, the energy of lifelong friends, and the desire to celebrate Peterle’s big step in a truly different way.

Today Martin chose the best way to celebrate his birthday… on a bike.

A warm day, summer kit, and the kind of scenery you don’t forget.

On one side, the snow-covered Etna.
On the other, the coastline and the views over Taormina.

Two completely different worlds, all in one ride.

This is what makes Sicily so special — every kilometer feels different, every view tells a new story.

🚴‍♂️Sicily, training mode 🇮🇹

Karlis, a professional rider, chose Sicily for his training camp… and Karina decided to join him and be part of the journey ❤️

She rented one of our bikes to share some of the rides together — because cycling here is even better when you experience it side by side.

From the coastline to the slopes of Etna, through vineyards and quiet inland roads, and up to the views around Taormina… this is what riding in Sicily is all about.

Different pace, same roads, same passion.

It’s no surprise that more and more pro riders are coming here to train.

Another busy day around Sicily

Yesterday was all about bike deliveries… and quite a few kilometers 😅

📍 Noto
First stop in beautiful Noto, surrounded by baroque architecture and quiet countryside roads, with Sandra & Holger — back in Sicily for the second year in a row and once again riding with us 🙌

📍 Augusta
Then on to Augusta, between sea views and coastal winds, to meet Inas & Klaus for their very first cycling experience in Sicily… let’s see if they fall in love with it 😄

📍 Giardini Naxos
And finally back on the coast, in Giardini Naxos, delivering to Michael, ready to ride between the sea and Mount Etna.

Different riders, same goal: enjoy Sicily by bike.
