🇬🇧 As part of the "Garda by Bike" project, the path from Torri to Malcesine is becoming more and more complete! By now, it is almost as beautiful to ride as the promenade Garda-Bardolino-Lazise 🥰

We hope that the bike connection Garda-Torri will soon be expanded... 🤞

Unfortunately,  you still have to ride about 10-15 minutes by bike along the main road when you want to visit Torri or Punta San Vigilio.

🇬🇧 Garda by Bike is the name of the ambitious project with the aim to build a bike path once around the entire Lago di Garda. Unfortunately, still many people come to us with misinformation.

👉 the project is still far from being completed (not least because of covid).
👉 The only pleasant city bike sections directly on the lake are still only Garda - Lazise and Torri - Malcesine. Cycling around the whole lake is still an 150km adventure only road cyclist can enjoy.
  👉 The "most spectacular bike path" in Europe (see photo) is only a 4.5km short section in Limone(north-west). It makes for great views and awesome photos on the bike, however, it's not exactly worth renting a bike for it. Reason: the ferry connection from Garda to Limone is very complicated/expensive & the bikepath in Limone is very short...you can just walk it.

🇬🇧 Garda by Bike is the name of the ambitious project with the aim to build a bike path once around the entire Lago di Garda. Unfortunately, there are still some misunderstandings in this project with which tourist come to us almost daily.

🇬🇧Many roads at the lake are almost as busy as the Gardesana. If you like to ride a road bike on Lake Garda, but don't want to be overtaken by big trucks, then take a look at our website at the "Tours" section (link to our website in bio). There we have picked out the most panoramic road bike tours with little traffic and sorted them from easy to difficult. 🇬🇧If you are thinking about going around the lake on a road bike here is some info for you before you set off
👉 It's about 150km once around
👉 Be sure to get cycling shorts 😅
👉 The better direction from Garda is to start clockwise - so you always ride on the side of the road facing the lake and not constantly between traffic and rock wall. In addition, you then have the panoramic views towards the end, which help to stay motivated until the end 😉

All our Vespas are Vespa primavera 125cc which in Italy are legally drivable with a normal class B license.
