🇬🇧 Today, another stop on our journey: Syracuse! 🚘❤️

Our day begins with a guided tour of Ortigia, the historic heart of Syracuse, starting with its flavours, colours and local traditions.

Our first stop is the Ortigia Market, including the famous fish market, where we will discover stalls filled with local products. An experience of colours, aromas, flavours and traditions, accompanied by a small and enjoyable street food tour to taste some of Sicily’s delicious specialties. 🐟🍋🍊

After this culinary experience, we will continue our walk through the narrow streets of Ortigia, discovering some of its most fascinating treasures.

📍 Piazza Duomo will be one of our main stops: one of the most beautiful squares in the city, dominated by the magnificent Cathedral of Syracuse, built incorporating the ancient Doric columns of the Temple of Athena. It is a unique place where Greek history, Baroque architecture and Christian tradition come together.

We will then continue towards the Arethusa Spring, one of the most evocative landmarks of Ortigia — a freshwater spring overlooking the sea and closely connected to the ancient myth of Arethusa and Alpheus.

During our walk, we will also discover ancient traces of Greek Syracuse, including the Temple of Apollo, one of the oldest Doric temples in Sicily, together with magnificent historic palaces and churches that tell the story of centuries of history and different cultures.

✨ Another day dedicated to culture, history, flavours and Sicilian traditions, taking our time to walk through the charming streets and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Ortigia.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel for some well-deserved rest…

🇬🇧 Last day of our wonderful tour discovering Sicily and their family roots. 🚘❤️

Over these past few days, our clients have experienced Sicily at its best: culture, fascinating traditions, history, delicious Sicilian cuisine, and above all, the special journey of discovering their family origins.

Today we arrived in Ispica, a beautiful town in south-eastern Sicily, known for its elegant Baroque historic centre and its fascinating historical heritage.

Among its most remarkable landmarks are the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and, nearby, the impressive Cava d’Ispica, an area rich in caves, rock settlements and archaeological remains that tell the story of the ancient communities that lived in this part of Sicily.

A special final stop to conclude a journey filled with discoveries, emotions, flavours and, above all, family roots. ❤️

✨ And so, this wonderful tour comes to an end, but the memories of these places and the stories they discovered will certainly remain in our clients’ hearts.

🇬🇧 Our second stop: the magnificent city of Noto. ✨

After visiting Palazzolo Acreide, our journey continues towards one of the most beautiful towns in south-eastern Sicily: Noto, known as the “Capital of Sicilian Baroque.”

Noto was completely rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1693, a few kilometres from the ancient city. Its elegant streets, magnificent churches and historic palaces were designed according to the principles of Baroque architecture, creating a unique and harmonious cityscape.

Walking through the historic centre, we discover some of its most famous landmarks, including the spectacular Cathedral of San Nicolò, Palazzo Ducezio and the beautiful Via Nicolaci.

Today, Noto is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the late Baroque towns of the Val di Noto — a true open-air museum where history, architecture and Sicilian traditions come together.

Another beautiful chapter in our journey through Sicily, before returning to Syracuse and continuing our clients’ special search for their family roots. ❤️

🇬🇧 Day Two of our journey through Sicily and the search for our clients’ family roots. 🚘❤️

After leaving Syracuse, today we head towards one of the most fascinating towns in the Hyblaean Mountains: Palazzolo Acreide.

Palazzolo Acreide has a very ancient history, dating back to Akrai, a Greek colony founded by the people of Syracuse in 664 BC. Today, the town still preserves a remarkable heritage of narrow streets, historic churches, noble palaces and beautiful Baroque architecture, rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1693.

One of the town’s most important landmarks is the Basilica of San Sebastiano, the centre of one of Palazzolo Acreide’s most deeply rooted religious traditions.

The Feast of San Sebastiano, celebrated on August 10th, is a spectacular expression of local faith and culture. Religious processions, music, folklore and centuries-old traditions bring the town to life, creating a unique atmosphere that reflects the strong identity of the local community.

Palazzolo Acreide is therefore much more than just a stop along the way: it is a place where history, traditions, faith and Sicilian identity continue to live side by side.

And after Palazzolo Acreide, our journey continues towards another jewel of Sicily: the magnificent town of Noto, famous for its extraordinary Sicilian Baroque architecture, before returning once again to Syracuse.

✨ But our journey in search of their family origins continues… and over the next few days, there will be more fascinating places, stories and surprises to discover.

This time, we are accompanying two of our clients on a very special trip across our beautiful island — a journey to discover not only some of Sicily’s most fascinating places, but also their family roots and origins. ❤️

📍 First stop: Syracuse

Our day will begin with a visit to the Neapolis Archaeological Park, followed by a walk through the beautiful island of Ortigia, the historic heart of Syracuse.

After the sightseeing, our clients will enjoy some well-deserved relaxation and dinner at a local restaurant before returning to their hotel and getting ready for the exciting days ahead.

For this first part of the journey, we will be joined by , a professional tourist guide, who will help us discover and appreciate the history, culture and traditions of this wonderful part of Sicily. 🇮🇹
