Well that’s me and my team with our prizes! 🏆
We competed with different people in each team for each round, getting points for our wins. And Siw the woman next to me…and I (🥳)…got the most points and straight to the final! 😃 Ok so we lost and got second place…but it was a really fun day, playing with some of the best players in Sweden! 🥰

And Olav? Well he didn’t want to talk about his results this time. 😜

Okay, so we don’t NORMALLY dress like this 🤣, but the Easter bowls tournament in Ödeborg in Sweden was themed. 😜 So Olav had bought us some equipment…😂

So I looked forward to a relaxing Easter 🐣 at home…nothing but watching TV and eat candy. 😜 But you know…Olav just happened to see there’s an Easter Bowls tournament in Sweden, and before I had a moment to think about it…he had already signed us up. 🤣

Yep, moving fast and I love it! 😁

This morning I woke up early and INSPIRED! 🥰🥰
I went outside while my husband was still sleeping…made myself a cup of tea and brought water…you HAVE to drink water in that heat…we ARE in Equator, the warmest place on earth. 😜

Then I started writing. I’m writing about all the travel hacks and advices from our experiences…for people our age who wants to travel in the best and most comfortable way. 🥰

When I’m done, I will give it away for FREE to everyone who subscribes to our travel blog! 😍

THE REAL MALDIVES
You know, sometimes life can feel like a big disappointment for a minute, even if you have fulfilled your dreams…sort of. Like our trip to the Maldives, that has been my desire for a long time. And it turned out to be completely different than I had imagined. The view is amazing, but that´s the thing…it LOOKS greater than it is. It´s a tiny little island of Dhiffushi with a few hotels and a lot of beaches. And beautiful nature and life. But there´s nowhere to go for a swim, because the beaches are so shallow that the water not even reaches up to our knees. There´s no swimming pool, and no beach chairs and parasols. Alcohol is forbidden, and girls has to use dedicated bikini beaches because the Maldives is Islamic.

That said, the island is a beautiful work of nature, and the nature and sea life here is amazing! There are palm trees and white beaches…and beautiful turquoise waters. So it depends what you are aiming for. Is it the perfect beach holiday in maybe a watervilla and a glass or a bottle of wine? Then this island is not for you. But if you want to find that unique island feeling, see how the locals live, and don´t mind walking around in the heat…then this is for you.

A FUNNY THING they do in Sardinia is to have a Pub and a Bakery in the Supermarket! Now, we do have bakery’s in Norwegian supermarkets too…but here the bakery and the pub share the same counter…pub to the right, bakery to the left. 😅 So all the men was in the pub, and I went there to ask Olav something…and I have to say…I haven’t had so many men looking at me in a looong time. 😜 Probably because no women seemed to enter their zone lol!! 😁🤣
Good beer though! It’s called ichnuca…meaning Soul of Sardinia!! 😊💖
