Have you ever tried a medium-scale J-type?
Over the years, I’ve developed the 32” and 33” versions, working on the pickup placement to achieve the same glorious jazz bass sound.
The use of carbon fiber and select neck woods maintains long-lasting sustain.
No dead notes!

The medium scale improves playability, ergonomics, and reduces string tension, making the bass extremely fun to play.
