Equipped with triple jets, triple MTUs and optional joystick, the 50-meter M/Y Elsea is as flexible and easy to handle as a huge jet ski. She can comfortably cruise at 23 knots with engines at 80 per cent. Featuring a gross tonnage just below 500 gross tons, during sea trials Elsea exceeded 30 knots.
Elsea’s layout features large areas devoted to conviviality and spaces allowing to enjoy life in the open air to the fullest. On the main deck , the cockpit hosts a spectacular outdoor area with a table seating 12 people, ideal for alfresco dining. A removable awning allows owners and friends to relax on deck without having to worry about the scorching sun or the rain.
The main external lounge, featuring a custom-made whirlpool bath and a big sun bedding area, is located on the upper deck aft. Forward, between the wings of the superstructure, an open-air saloon has been obtained under a skylight in photochromatic glass. When the sun gets too harsh, the glass can be switched from clear to opaque, to protect the seating area below. Water misters on the edge of the superstructure and fan coils that circulate refrigerated air throughout the outdoor area help keep the area cool during hot days. This section also benefits from a large number of additional elements, including a bar, two television screens, a Dj station with an impressive sound system, and a shower for the guests, located after the whirlpool bath.
The upper deck salon of Elsea, which can also be used as a cinema lounge, has a very warm and cosy touch and is furnished with a huge circular sofa that creates a warm family feeling.
Another nice feature of the sky lounge is the ceiling over the circular sofa, in which the many tiny light inserts arranged like constellations recreate the beauty of a spectacular en plein air summer sky full of stars, something that recalls the primitive charm of being under the light of thousands of stars.
