It's the season that aroma of bitter orange blossoms fill the air.
We distill it to make drinks, cook it to make jams and dry it to brew it with tea.

"Happy Body Happy Planet" is the name of a series of talks that professor Johanna Sofia has arranged with 21 thinkers on how the well-being of our bodies can lead to well-being of our planet earth.
I talked about my personal experience of veganism and how we can save our planet by considering sustainability in our lifestyle.
Among other speakers I can name Dr Esselstyn from "Forks Over Knives" and Dr Milton Mills from "What the Health" documentaries.

Would you like one? 😊
Surprisingly they keep water cold in hot summer days! How? Water from inside pass through the clay and on the outer surface it needs heat to evaporate. It gets the heat from the stored water, thus making it cool.

Good & evil

The symbol of the city of Esfahan, Iran.

You can see this symbol in many old tile works around Esfahan. The man with body of a tiger is pointing the arrow to its dragon-like tale.

This symbol is the combination of both the sagittarius sign and the ancient belief that like yin-yang there is both good and evil within us. To move forward, we need to be watchful of the evil inside!

We need to think and act globally to save our planet!
Many nations are having a hard time because of the outbreak. But Iranians are experiencing a more difficult time for the additional pressure of US Sanctions. Above people, Iran's nature and wildlife are suffering the most from Sanctions.
Please sign this petition to ask Instagram ban wildlife trade in Persian language. More info on the petition page on Change.org

Natural air conditioning system🌱
Notice the channels on top of all domed roofs! They are all faced toward the famous wind of the region called 120-day wind. A strong wind that blows for 120 days during summer which occasionally exceeds 100 km per hour (60 mph). Locals put wet dried wood on the other end of the channel to keep their house cool during the hot summer.

Do you know other natural air conditioning structures? Please share 🌿

This man opens the door of the windmill everyday with love hoping to see the visitors again.

Made from clay, palm tree and stone, Persians invented these windmills with vertical axis to take advantage of the powerful natural element in the region know as the "120-day wind".

Where do you plan on visiting in Iran when this is over?
