📢 Event organizers can now apply for a Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) waiver under the following conditions:
Minimum Participants: The event must have a minimum of 50 participants, excluding Bhutanese nationals.
Duration: The event should span at least three nights and four days.
Comprehensive Program: Ensure your event incorporates cultural activities, community engagement, or environmentally sustainable initiatives.
Application Process: Submit your application at least 30 days before the event start date, providing detailed itineraries, participant lists, and event objectives.
This initiative aims to promote MICE tourism while encouraging sustainable practices and fostering meaningful partnerships with our vibrant local community.

It is a very small, picturesque village in the western Sikkim which is not very far away from Gangtok and adjacent to the popular destination Pelling. But this place offers one of the best views of Kanchenjungha and surrounding peaks. This is Biksthang . If someone wishes to be lost in nature, this might be the ideal destination. The tranquil environment, lofty snow capped peaks, lush green valleys, chirping of the birds amidst silence and simple village life all these things have made up the eternal beauty of Biksthang. Village walks, short treks and pure rest and relaxation in the middle of the magnificent beauty of nature, a 2-3 days stay could easily rejuvenate the entire spirit of the tourist. Meghalaya is a state where nature expressed herself in an amazing manner. This is Dawki which is a pleasant surprise for any nature lover. Situated in the west Jaintia hills, and very close to the Bangladesh border this village is well known for it's magnificent natural beauty, specially the serene lush green surroundings and the presence of umngot River. One should not miss the opportunity of taking a boat ride in the crystal clear emerald green water of the river. The town has a beautiful coronation bridge over the river. The bridge looks so beautiful and the overall view from it is magnificent. It was constructed in 1932. The cleanliness of the river is bound to attaract the tourists. In Dawki a boat ride is must recommended. A sailing on the smooth Umangat river would be an unforgettable experience.
