Humble Appeal to all the residents of Udhampur Distt.
1.We have switched to Automated (Aadhar enabled transactions )mode of distribution of ration through PoS devices only.Pls. cooperate and don't compel the FPS dealers to give the ration without making Transactions.
2.The ration permits to the FPS dealers will be issued as per their PoS transactions for the previous month.Pls.bear the inconvenience on account of any technical failure or otherwise in the PoS devices while drawing your monthly ration.
3.The receipts after transactions will be shown to the rationees for satisfaction and ensuring transparency/Accountability in the system .
4. Ration card(PHH/AAY) with unseeded Aadhar cards stands deactivated from the portal.This attempt wipes out all the Bogus/duplicate ration cards from the portal,thus creating ample scope for genuine beneficiaries.
5.Those beneficiaries whose RCs stands deleted/deactivated shall visit their concerned TSO office /AD office for seeding and activation of ration card thereof.
6.All the Rationees are requested to seed/link their Aadhar cards with the respective Ration cards for getting the benefits of schemes .
7.We have already updated 2000 RCs which were deleted and were over and above the Prescribed Allocated limit of beneficiaries (As per the Census 2011) for the District.
8.Majority of the People are approaching my Office/TSO office for inclusion of their newly born or 2-3 yrs kids in the ration cards for the purpose of Admission and all that.I want to make them clear that Children born before the Census of 2011(.and thus included in the census) will only be updated on the epds portal.


Apropos; due to paucity of Technical support Staff and for the convenience of the general public ,Pls WhatsApp( on the no's mentioned below) your Ration card along with necessary Correction/modifications if any,so that the same shall be processed and sent back to you via WhatsApp.

This is to inform all the residents of Distt. Udhampur that during the prevalent time of crisis, kindly follow every precautionary measures to combat/contain the transmission of “CORONA VIRUS” & In case of any shortage of Essential commodities, please inform immediately.

Furthermore, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Govt.Of India has clarified that the price of “HAND SANITIZERS” of 200 ml capacity should not be more than 100 rupees (Upto 30th June 2020). Apropos, if any shopkeeper (Wholesaler/Retailer) sells the sanitizers and masks on inflated rates, please intimate immediately to the contact numbers given below, so that the defaulters be charged and booked accordingly as per the provisions of “Essential Commodities Act -1955”.
