The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. In 2012 the idea of Soul Safar took birth in the shape of blogs and FB pages written by Indira, sharing stories about her personal expeditions on the less travelled routes. Her interesting tales about the magical offbeat destinations were liked by many travel lovers. Gradually with popular demand Soul Safar became a sought-after online destination for info and stories of lesser-known places. In 2019 Soul Safar successfully ventured into International guided tours with lesser-known Russia being the first destination. Our future endeavour is to organise many handcrafted journeys to select offbeat destinations exploring their heritage, history, culture and tradition in a meaningful way. The Soul
Indira, the soul of Soul Safar is a passionate travel enthusiast who loves to share her fascinating travel tales with the world through her blog. Bitten by the travel bug she has extensive experience of traveling especially to the Himalayas from her childhood. After a successful career in Public Relations, she left her career to follow her passion. To take this passion to the next level she has ventured into organising immersive journeys with small groups of compatible companions, creating soul enriching travel. She is supported in her endeavours by her husband Subhransu, who is a strategic brand storyteller and a cultural communication specialist with a deep love for travel. Why us?
