Upon successful evaluation and approval from the agencies concerned, it will be integrated into regular operations — marking another milestone in CIAL’s journey toward smarter and safer airport experiences.

The vision takes shape! ✈️

Here’s a glimpse of what’s on the horizon — CIAL’s ambitious International terminal expansion, designed to redefine comfort and connectivity.

Spanning a new apron of 15 lakh sq.ft and a terminal expansion of 5 lakh sq.ft, the development will enhance operational capacity, comfort, and connectivity. Once complete, the total apron area will grow from 20 lakh to 36 lakh sq.ft, with parking bays increasing from 44 to 52 — redefining the scale of efficiency at CIAL.

Scenes from today’s Full-Scale Emergency Mock Drill at Cochin International Airport, held to assess the airport’s readiness and response capability during an emergency situation.

The large-scale exercise brought together over 30 agencies — including security, defence, disaster management, medical, and airline partners — working in perfect coordination to ensure safety and efficiency.
