Kasar Devi is a village near Almora, Uttarakhand. It is known for the Kasar Devi temple, a Devi temple, dedicated to Kasar Devi, after whom the place is also named. The temple structure dates to the 2nd century CE. Swami Vivekananda visited Kasar Devi in 1890s, and numerous western seeker, Sunyata Baba Alfred Sorensen and Lama Anagarika Govinda. A place also known for Crank's Ridge, just outside the village, which was popular destination during the Hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s, and continues to attracts trekkers and tourists, both domestic and foreign.
The temple hosts the annual "Kasar Devi Fair" on Kartik Poornima (November–December).

KHUPRATAL is a beautiful spot 12 km from Nainital. It is considered to be anglers paradise having clear water and a good harvest of fishes.

The route to Khurpatal is lined with tall trees. Many of them growing by the sheer drop by the road seem to be standing there by luck! On the Bajpur Road - Kaladgungi Road.

गर्जिया देवी मन्दिर या 'गिरिजा देवी मन्दिर' उत्तराखण्ड के सुंदरखाल गाँव में स्थित है, जो माता पार्वती के प्रमुख मंदिरों में से एक है। यह मंदिर श्रद्धा एवं विश्वास का अद्भुत उदाहरण है। उत्तराखण्ड का यह प्रसिद्ध मंदिर रामनगर से लगभग 15 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। मंदिर छोटी पहाड़ी के ऊपर बना हुआ है, जहाँ का खूबसूरत वातावरण शांति एवं रमणीयता का एहसास दिलाता है। देवी के प्रसिद्ध मन्दिरों में गिरिजा देवी (गर्जिया देवी) का स्थान अद्वितीय है। गिरिराज हिमालय की पुत्री होने के कारण ही इन्हें इस नाम से पुकारा जाता है। मान्यता है कि जिन मन्दिरों में देवी वैष्णवी के रूप में स्थित होती हैं, उनकी पूजा पुष्प प्रसाद से की जाती है और जहाँ शिव शक्ति के रूप में होती हैं, वहाँ बलिदान का प्रावधान है।

Garjiya Devi Mandir is located in the Garjiya village near Ramnagar - Nainital District, Uttarakhand, India. It is a sacred Shakti shrine where Garjiya Devi is the presiding deity.

Garjiya Devi Temple is one of the most famous temples of the Nainital district visited by thousands of devotees during Kartik Poornima, a Hindu holy day celebrated on the fifteenth lunar day of Kartik (November – December).
