Mr. Anil D Thakker established Monarch Group of Companies four decades ago which also included Prince Octroi Services & Yogeshwar Agencies and gradually became the leader in octroi clearing, refunds and consultancy related matters. His son Mr. Tushar Thakker joined him and expanded the businessby leaps and bounds.

Thakker Logistics Pvt Ltd (TLPL) was also an established company since seventies, owned by Mr. Krishna Thakker & his brother Mr. Chetan Thakker dealing in nooked octroi clearing and octroi refund services, popularly known as TLPL.

The introduction of GST in India was seen as a turning point and opportune moment for two entrepreneurs, Anil D. Thakker and Krishna Thakker, to launch a shipping and logistics company from India for the world, and Connoisseur was born. The founders envisioned Connoisseur as providing global coverage and excellent service in logistics solutions spread across road, sea and air. Since inception, promoters were in the field of logistics & surface transport, aided the traders with services primarily centred around Octroi. In the four decades of the working, they went on to create a niche segment of giving specialised services to Liquid Cargo (Chemicals, Palm Oil), Consumer Durables, White Goods & FMCG products. With the advent of GST, they roped in the second generation and decided to give more specialised services, to offer vide array of logistics solutions spread across Rail, Road, Sea & Air.

Connoisseur Shipping & Logistics is now headed by Mr. Tushar Thakker & Mr. Rasesh Thakker.
