I am proud to share that at 4:30 am IST this morning, the book MUMBAI by my daughter Rushina was declared winner under the category of Best Visuals at the James Beard Awards. These awards are considered the equivalent of Oscars of book publishing!

MUMBAI is Rushina's love letter to the food culture of the city and the people who are responsible for preserving it.

With three Gourmands and now this James Beard, she is probably one of the most recognised Indian food writers of her generation. She does our family, Mumbai, and India proud.
