Arkas Line, represented by Parekh Marine Services Pvt. Ltd., successfully flagged off the first re**er block train from ICD Panki, Kanpur to Nhava Sheva on 8th May 2026 in association with Pristine Mega Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd.

The train movement carried 43 re**er containers with 2 powerpacks, marking a major milestone in refrigerated cargo movement from North India. This successful operation highlighted the re**er cargo handling capabilities of Arkas Line (Parekh Group) and reinforced the importance of integrated cold chain infrastructure and seamless EXIM connectivity.

The initiative reflects strong coordination between rail movement, ICD infrastructure, re**er cargo handling, vessel planning, and port connectivity to ensure timely and efficient cargo transportation.

To grace the occasion, Mr. Tumay Ulutas (Country Head – Arkas Line), Mr. Jayesh Vaidya (VP – Arkas Line, Parekh Group) and Mr. Rajat Pathak (Regional Head North India - Parekh Group) were present.

Arkas Line, represented by Parekh Marine Services Pvt. Ltd., successfully flagged off the first re**er block train from ICD Palwal to MDPT (Mundra Port) on 11th May 2026 in association with Hind Terminal Pvt. Ltd.

This movement marked another significant milestone in strengthening refrigerated cargo transportation and seamless cold chain connectivity through integrated rail and port logistics operations.

The successful initiative reflects strong coordination between ICD infrastructure, re**er cargo handling, rail movement, vessel planning, and port connectivity to ensure reliable and timely cargo transportation from inland locations to gateway ports.

These continued initiatives reinforce Arkas Line and Parekh Marine’s commitment towards dependable logistics solutions, operational efficiency, and strengthening India’s evolving multimodal and cold chain logistics ecosystem.

Parekh Marine is proud to share a historic milestone achieved in Geneva with the successful adoption of the first-ever International Labour Organization (ILO), Geneva Code of Practice on Occupational Safety and Health in the Aquaculture Sector.
