Khaki Tours We help you discover heritage hidden in nooks & crannies of Mumbai that you never knew existed! Subs which are not usually associated with "heritage".

KHAKI TOURS is a platform where heritage lovers share stories and folklore about the nooks & crannies that make Mumbai. The aim is to take “heritage conservation” from elite/ intellectual circles to common man. Founded by BharGo, Khaki Tours expands the horizon of heritage from beyond “Fort” & takes you to the meandering lanes of unexplored precincts like Lalbaug, Gamdevi, Kalyan, Alibaug etc. The

re are over 50 walks planned in the city and one new walk will be unveiled every month. Most walks follow the format of 2.5 Hours/ 2.5 Kms/ 25 Spots/ 25 Participants and are announced on the Khaki Tours page. Currently, the walks are free and anyone is welcome to join as long as they register on FB. The last few walks have got tremendous response, which has resulted in multiple co-hosts handling different groups. The last walk Banganga Parikrama had 151 participants! With an aim to restrict the number of participants to 50 per walk, Khaki Tours would like to charge a fee (Rs. 500/- pp proposed). As the co-hosts consider these walks to be a social service activity, the amount generated will be donated directly to some reputed NGO from the payment gateway.
