NSICT

The Meeting between the parties held on 28th and discussed the issues To resolve the strike at NSICT.
The meeting ended fruitlessly The strike is continuing by the Union members at NSICT.


MAWINGU
Considering the above scenario, we have decided to bypass the vsl Jumme Trade at Nhava Sheva
Vessel sailed directly from outer anchorage to Port Qasim.

MECL
Maersk Denver expected to arrive at NSCIT on 31st am

ME3
Maersk Dauphin expected to arrive at GTI on 30th/0700 hrs. The Gate opened at GTI on 26th at 1700 hrs

The doc cutoff will be on 29th at 1800 hrs.

FM3
Maersk Kalamata expected to arrive at GTI on 2nd am.
The Gates are closed for Maersk Kalamata

HAZIRA
Maersk Dauphin sailed today at 1000 hours .

GTI
The go-slow by the Transporters are still goig on and no improvements in the situation. Due to this, GTI
Has Reduced the moves on window vessels.

1. NSICT (DPW)

Everything is at a standstill in NSICT from around 1900 hrs on 22/10. Last vessel mv Kerstin S (Maersk MWE service) sailed with shutouts and over carrying some imports too. All staff of NSICT have been told to stay at home. Understand MECL (Maersk) & EPIC (CMA) service vessels due this week are also bypassing NSA. Presently it’s a lockout and no solution seems to be coming out.

Meanwhile, the Union people along with the families of the affected NSICT staff are going to the residences of the staff & management personals staying in the Nhavasheva area asking for support (or in other words threatening the staff and families to support them). They are also not allowing NSICT staff busses to enter the terminals.


2. GTI ( APMT)

Go slow is getting worse with productivity further dropping today. Two vessels(one of CSAV and one of APL) are in berth, but their Expected time of completion is still not declared and no further berthing to any waiting vessel has been allotted. The Window vessels are already running 12-20 hours behind schedule which might increase further if situation remains like this. APMT management is talking to their contractors and trying to resolve the issue.


3. JNPCT (JNPT)

JNPCT berthed one NSICT service vessel ZIM JAMICA , but the JNPT Labour union objected to that (in support of NSICT issue). They did not allow the operations to take place and finally the vessel is now sailing out without doing any operations. The lashing workers were also threatened, some also later man handled by the Union people. The Union has made it very clear that no NSICT service vessel should be berthed at JNPCT.

Dear Valuable Supporter,
The Strike @ NSICT is not yet called off. The meeting is going on between NSICT Port contractors & workers, officials, etc..
Ref to yesterday’s meeting @ Nsict, The problem is not yet solved & the strike is still continued.
Also @ GTI Understand that presently, the terminal operations are very slow even at GTI due to some issue with Transport Contractors.
Will keep you updated if any further.
