Karbala Atraaf Ziyarat | Part 02
Every step around Karbala takes us closer to a moment that changed history forever.
In Part 02 of Karbala Atraaf Ziyarat, ACF Journeys takes you through four deeply significant places connected to the tragedy of Ashura:
📍 Kaf-e-Abbas (AS)
The place associated with the martyrdom of Hazrat Abbas (AS), where his blessed hands were severed while he was carrying water for the children of Imam Hussain (AS). A symbol of Wafa that never surrendered. 🏴
📍 Maqam-e-Sher-e-Fizza
The place associated with Janabe Fizza (SA) and the lion known as Abu Haaris. According to the well-known narration, when she witnessed the tragedy of Karbala, she called upon the lion to protect the sacred body of Imam Hussain (AS).
📍 Tilla-e-Zainabia (SA)
From this elevated spot, Bibi Zainab (SA) is remembered as having witnessed the heartbreaking final moments of her brother, Imam Hussain (AS) — from approximately 70 steps away.
A view that carries the weight of the greatest tragedy. ❤️🩹🏴
📍 Khaimagaah
The sacred site of the Khayyam of Imam Hussain (AS) — where the tents of the family and companions stood on Ashura, and where the cries of the children, the grief of the women and the memories of those who gave their lives for Hussain (AS) remain etched in the history of Karbala.
Five places. Five memories. One Karbala.
From the severed hands of Abbas (AS), to the courage of Fizza (SA), the grief witnessed by Zainab (SA), and the burning tents of Khaimagaah…
Karbala is not merely visited.
Karbala is felt. 🏴
🤲 May Allah grant every lover of Hussain (AS) the opportunity to stand upon this sacred land.
