On the proud occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day, Shirdi Airport hosted a grand and unforgettable celebration with vibrant cultural performances, a powerful CISF drill, and Quick Response Team and ARFF showcasing preparedness and precision during emergency situations. The spirit of collaboration soared as airline partners joined the celebrations, adding rhythm and energy through soulful dance performances and patriotic melodies.
Adorned in captivating tricolour décor, the airport reflected the true essence of India’s unity and pride. The most heart-warming moment came with the dance performances by young children, whose innocence and joy added a magical touch to the celebrations.

Shirdi Airport Celebrates Maharashtra’s Iconic Paithani Saree!
In furtherance of the initiative, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has launched the One Airport One Product (OAOP) programme to promote indigenous products while strengthening local entrepreneurship.
This week, Shirdi Airport has proudly adopted the Paithani Saree – known as the Queen of Sarees – as its signature product. Known for its exquisite silk weaving, intricate zari work, and royal elegance, the Paithani is a symbol of Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage and artisan excellence.
Through this initiative, Shirdi Airport not only celebrates local craftsmanship but also promotes it to thousands of passengers, creating a platform where culture, tradition, and commerce meet.

MADC is delighted to announce the launch of the Mumbai–Nanded–Mumbai air route from 25th December 2025.
Operated by Star Air, connects Nanded with Mumbai three days a week – Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, opening new horizons for travel, trade, and growth in the region.

Amravati Airport | Infrastructure Review
The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, MADC, Swati Pandey, conducted a site review of the ongoing DVOR (Doppler VHF Omni Range) installation works at Amravati Airport.
During the visit, she reviewed the progress of civil and technical works and interacted with the project team to ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and aviation safety requirements. The DVOR facility, once commissioned, will significantly enhance navigational accuracy and operational safety, strengthening the airport’s air navigation infrastructure. MADC aims to make Amravati airport night landing complianed by end of the March.
This review underscores MADC’s continued commitment to developing robust, future-ready aviation infrastructure at Amravati Airport, aligned with national aviation growth objectives.
