28 വർഷമായി റംസാനിലെ ഒരു നോമ്പ് പോലും വിടാതെ നോറ്റ് ഒരു പൊലീസുകാരൻ, പെരിന്തൽമണ്ണ ട്രാഫിക് പൊലീസ് എ.എസ്.ഐയും മലപ്പുറം കൂട്ടിലങ്ങാടി മുഞ്ഞക്കുളം സ്വദേശി ചിരുതമ്മ -കോരുക്കുട്ടി ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകനുമായ സി.കെ. വിജയനാണ് റംസാൻ മാസത്തിലെ മുഴുവൻ നോമ്പും അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നത്.

കൂടെ പഠിച്ചിരുന്ന കൂട്ടുകാർ നോമ്പുതുറ സൽക്കാരത്തിന് നിരന്തരം ക്ഷണിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനെ തുടർന്നാണ് ഇദ്ദേഹം നോമ്പ് എടുത്ത് തുടങ്ങിയത്. ശരീരത്തിന് ആശ്വാസകരമാണെന്ന് തോന്നിയതോടെ അനുഷ്ഠാനം തുടരുകയായിരുന്നെന്നും അമ്മ നന്നായി പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചുവെന്നും വിജയൻ പറയുന്നു.
