With the passionate belief in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world, we want to build a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the most inspired thinkers and a community of curious souls that engage with ideas. SMIT. Theme:
Many of us, young leaders and innovators, at a very pivotal stage of our lives, are over-burdened with our perception and perspective of the world. We become stubborn to accept the radically changing world because we love to be comfortable in our own nest of thoughts. The 2nd edition of TEDxSMIT will amplify ideas through speakers who will push our community to radically reframe our thought process and provide a new perspective and a clear perception of the present. So that, learning never stops, innovation breaks boundaries and mankind creates a better future. Speakers:

Venue:
The beautifully landscaped campus of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology at the banks of the hustling Teesta River in the Himalayan region of India will host the event and will serve the occasion to inaugurate the newly constructed Hall in the campus. Logistics:

Shweta Ratanpura is the first-ever Indian female to win a medal at WorldSkills event in Russia’s Kazan. A graphic design student from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad she has made the entire nation rejoice with the victory. The 5th Edition of TEDxSMIT was an adventure in itself. All the fun, learning and hardwork ended this race with an everlasting experience of a kind.
We found our path to this Race to infinity and hope that others will find it too.

The blockbuster of TEDxSMIT, fifth edition ended with Mr. Gaurav Gambhir (a.k.a) D-CYPHER expressing his views on how he turned his “just a hobby” of beat-boxing to “master it in all aspects” and left everyone present in the audience amazed.
He inspired our young audience to cope up with studies with their hobbies up their sleeves.

The dose of Monday motivation came early in SMIT as Mr Akhil Suhag’s talk left everyone in the crowd speechless and spell bound.
His talk about growing through failures gave everyone a story to look upto. The attendees of TEDxSMIT certainly had their inspiration levels at infinity.

The 5th edition of TEDxSMIT kick-started with the talk of our first speaker, Gurudatt Keshav who with his spirited personality engulfed the young audience present at the venue.
He went on to share his experiences and views on the topic of "Humanity and it's Values" . His talk enlightened the crowd and inspired the young minds in attendance.
