Not just a destination, it’s a feeling

Standing tall in Nubra Valley, Diskit Monastery is the oldest and largest monastery of the region 🏔️
Founded in the 14th century by Changzem Tserab Zangpo, a disciple of Tsong Khapa, it became a powerful center of Buddhist learning and culture.

Perched above the Shyok River, this monastery once stood along the ancient Silk Route, witnessing centuries of trade, stories, and spiritual growth.

From ancient legends of Mongol demons to the peaceful presence of the Maitreya Buddha, this place is where history, spirituality, and mystery come alive ✨

Travel here… and you don’t just see Ladakh, you feel its soul. 🙏
