साफ़ हवा में सांस लेना हर नागरिक का बुनियादी मानवाधिकार है।

और, शांतिपूर्ण विरोध का अधिकार हमारे संविधान द्वारा सुनिश्चित किया गया है।

फिर शांति से सिर्फ़ साफ हवा की मांग कर रहे नागरिकों से अपराधियों सा बर्ताव क्यों किया जा रहा है?

हवा का प्रदूषण करोड़ों भारतीयों को प्रभावित कर रहा है - हमारे बच्चों और देश के भविष्य को नुकसान पहुंचा रहा है।
लेकिन जिस सरकार ने वोट चोरी करके सत्ता पाई, उसे न इसकी परवाह है, न इसे हल करने की कोई कोशिश कर रही है।

हमें अब वायु प्रदूषण पर तुरंत और निर्णायक कार्रवाई करने की ज़रूरत है - न कि उन नागरिकों पर हमला करने की जो सिर्फ़ साफ हवा मांग रहे हैं।

आज मध्य प्रदेश जा रहा हूं।

और जब से ये खबर देखी है कि वहां बच्चों को मिड-डे मील अख़बार पर परोसा जा रहा है, दिल टूट सा गया है।

ये वही मासूम बच्चे हैं जिनके सपनों पर देश का भविष्य टिका है, और उन्हें इज़्ज़त की थाली तक नसीब नहीं।

20 साल से ज्यादा की BJP सरकार, और बच्चों की थाली तक चुरा ली गई - इनका 'विकास' बस छलावा है, सरकार में आने का असली राज़ तो 'व्यवस्था' है।

शर्म आनी चाहिए ऐसे मुख्यमंत्री और प्रधानमंत्री को जो देश के बच्चों, भारत के भविष्य का इस दुर्दशा से पालन-पोषण कर रहे हैं।
