We are happy to share the features of RAILMATE App. for you..
1. This app is intend for train commuters with many added features as compared to the current what's app activities. Here also, real time traveling members are supposed to update their train status... All the train travel information that u may get or post here is purely based on your selected sectors only.
2. User have three options for posting the Msg.
A. Filter Post
B. Platform Post
C. General Post
You can select any of the above by touching on the icon kept in the Bottom left part of the Typing area.
2.A. Filter post - Under Filter post, A sequence of Train, Status, Stations, Time and Platform options will be pop up based on your selected sector for Post a Filter Post. Following options are also available
2.A.1. While selecting each portion, the selected msg appears in the middle part.....There you will get the option for edit by touching on the same.
2.A.2. By touching on the time, u will get the clock to edit if it requires.
2.A.3. If you touch.on the "tick mark" (✓) below the clock, you will get the platform list.
2.B. Platform Post - Users will be able to post the status of various platforms of a particular station on a particular time. Options are provided for unknown train and vacant platform under this category.
2.C. General Post - Users are Allowed to post any Text Messages including attachments. But we have limited the Daily Maximum number of post under this category as 15 others wise the purpose of the system may be defeated.
*Other Features:*
1. Preview of any Filter post Or Platform Post will be pop up on the middle part of the screen. By Touching on the same *you can edit* the train, station, time etc., if required, before sending.
2. In case of any items lost or found during your travel, the same can be reported under *Lost & Found* option. From top right end menu, this option will be available..
3. Users can select their *favourite trains* from options which enables you to provide the information about those selected favourite trains only.
4. Users can swipe any posted msg to Right Side for Reply/Forward the same details.
5. Users can delete any posted message except Lost & Found by swiping to Left Side within 15mnts.
6. Mob Number or Name saved in the profile will not be visible to any others using this app. It is the privilege of the user to change it under security option if they desired.
