Indonesia has the largest Muslim population on earth. 🇮🇩
Roughly 240 million people. About 87% of the country.
Now zoom into one island: Bali.
Also 87% — but Hindu.
Temples on every corner. Daily offerings on the sidewalk. And a water system called Subak that's been irrigating the rice terraces for centuries — run not by a government agency, but by farmers, communities, and temple priests working off shared rules.
Religion, agriculture, and governance, all fused into one system. It works nothing like the centralized models most of us grew up with.
It made me sit with a bigger question: how does one country hold two completely different worlds at once?
And it's the same question I keep coming back to right now, watching the East rise, the West reshape itself, and AI rewire entire industries in real time.
The way we build careers and businesses is shifting just as fast as anything in that carousel.
One thing traveling through Asia taught me: you don't have to build alone anymore. You have AI as leverage — use it like a team, not a tool.
