10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, BE / BTech candidates can join MERCHANT NAVY after completing the tailor-made courses approved by Direc
tor General of Shipping (Government of INDIA). Experienced candidates can also gets more good opportunities in good shipping companies. The candidates wish to join this career should complete the courses as required and they will join MERCHANT NAVY in the following ranks.
1. Trainee Wiper - 10th candidates preferably with ITI / Diploma.
2. DECK CADET - 12th candidates with PCM.
4. ENGINE CADET / TME - BE / BTech candidates with ME / NA.
5. ELECTRICAL CADET - Diploma, BE, BTech canddiates with Electrical & Electronics.
6. STEWARD - 12th candidates. After the specific period of on-board training these candidates can get promotions by attending the exams as required.
