At Blue Dart, our focus is twofold: sustainable supply chain business practices and digital transformation. On the sustainability front, we’re making strong progress. Most of our new facilities are green energy compliant. A recent highlight is our collaboration with DMRC, resulting in the region’s first green line hall—an important milestone in our journey toward eco-friendly logistics.
On the digital side, we see AI playing a pivotal role in enabling seamless operations. The future of logistics will be powered by smart tools, and leaders will increasingly adopt these to enhance efficiency and agility.
Having spent 30 years in this industry, I can confidently say that speed is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. In our early days, before we had aircraft, we had couriers flying first-class just to ensure early, on-time deliveries. That commitment sent a clear message: we’re here to deliver, no matter what. E-commerce is our fastest-growing vertical, and we’re fortunate to have a presence across all segments within it. This has allowed us to operate in all three models—B2B, B2C, and D2C—drawing from a learning curve that spans nearly 40 years.
Beyond talent, one of our biggest challenges is expansion. Serving over 19,000 pin codes requires precise planning and ex*****on, often based on dynamic heat maps.
