It was a pleasure meeting our guests from the USA, who spent nearly 6 days exploring North Kerala with Kannur Tours and Holidays Pvt Ltd.

Their journey through North Kerala was filled with authentic experiences, cultural discoveries and unforgettable moments. From a beautiful houseboat sunset cruise on the backwaters to a visit to Neeliyar Kottam, they experienced the warmth and diversity of our region.

They were especially excited about the warm hospitality and rich cultural experiences North Kerala has to offer, and expressed their happiness and desire to return and explore more of Kerala in the future.

After their journey through North Kerala and Wayanad, they continued onward to Chennai, carrying with them wonderful memories of Kerala.

A Sea of Water Lilies in Kerala!
When Kerala’s Ambal (Water Lilies) bloom, the countryside transforms into a breathtaking canvas of pink, white and green. 💚Our group of German guests had the opportunity to witness this beautiful seasonal spectacle at Malarickal, Kumarakom, Kerala.

Spread across nearly 500 square metres, the lake was beautifully covered with blooming water lilies — creating a magical experience surrounded by Kerala’s serene backwaters and village landscapes.
For our guests, it was more than just sightseeing. It was a chance to experience Kerala’s natural beauty up close, away from the usual tourist trails.

German Visitors Experience North Kerala Culture and Heritage.
As part of the Cultural Exchange Programme, Our German guests were given the opportunity to visit a School at Sreekandapuram, where children part of the group interacted with local students, creating a warm and meaningful cultural exchange. They explored a 300-year-old traditional Kerala house, learning about the region’s architecture, lifestyle and customs. The visitors also experienced rubber tapping and honey farming, gaining insights into traditional agriculture and rural livelihoods. A visit to a traditional handloom unit introduced them to Kerala’s rich weaving heritage and craftsmanship. The visit was a memorable blend of culture, education, friendship and community service, strengthening connections between Germany and North Kerala.

Glad to host our valuable guests from Germany on their first visit to Kerala. It was a pleasure to share with them the beauty, culture, and unforgettable experiences of our beautiful state.

One of the rarest and most exciting moments was spotting a tiger at close range during their Periyar boating experience at Thekkady 🐅🌿 — truly a once-in-a-lifetime sighting!

Their Kerala journey continued with a relaxing houseboat cruise at Kumarakom 🚤🌴, followed by visits to the beautiful destinations of Kannur and Bekal.

A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY COMES TO A BEAUTIFUL CLOSE

What began on 15th August in Varanasi with a group of 30 wonderful guests from Bangalore has reached its final destination today in the historic city of Agra.

From the sacred banks of the Ganga in Varanasi, to the divine confluence at Triveni Sangam, Prayagraj; from the spiritual splendour of Ayodhya, to Mathura, the sacred Krishna Janmabhoomi — every destination added a new chapter to this unforgettable journey.

And today, we concluded this beautiful pilgrimage with the timeless Taj Mahal and the magnificent Agra Fort. 🕌✨

More than a tour, it was a journey of faith, spirituality, culture, history and togetherness — filled with precious moments, shared experiences and memories that will stay with us for years to come.
