Kalyan Railway Station There are 8 platforms at Kalyan station. The platforms are 1, 1A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Platform 4 is used for 'DOWN' Local Trains only.

Platform number 1 and 1A are for Kalyan-originating slow/semi-slow 'UP'(towards Mumbai CST) Local Trains. Platform 2 and 3 are used for 'UP' and 'DOWN'(towards badlapur, karjat, kasara, titwala, khopoli) slow trains. Platforms 5 and 6 are used for 'UP' as well as 'DOWN' trains slow/fast Trains. Platform 7 for 'UP' fast Local Trains only. Intercity, express trains, long distance trains arrive at Platforms 4,5,6,7 only.

If you want to get down at Kalyan, u don't have to move towards the exit, you simply get carried away by the crowd..!!

No matter what... bt when you are coming by a fast train from CST to Kalyan, your train will definitely halt in front of Metro mall..!! :)

You don't need to worry about getting down on Kalyan even if the train is jam packed... poora train khaali hota hai.. :)

Even if d CST bound train is starting from Kalyan, still we Kalyankars will go to Dombivli, Thakurli to catch dat train b4 it comes to Kalyan.

You never know for sure whether the Kalyan bound slow train will go on 1 or 1A platform..!!
