ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਦਮਪੁਰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਟਰਮੀਨਲ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ' ਤੇ 18 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਸਪਾਈਸ ਜੈੱਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵਿਤ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਖਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ.
ਅਡਮਪੁਰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ, ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਐਮਪੀਜੇਈ ਅਤੇ ਐੱਮ. ਐੱਮ. ਐੱਸ. ਅਤੇ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਿਜੇ ਸਾਂਪਲਾ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਰਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਏਅਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਟਰ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ (ਡੀਆਈਏਐਲ) ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ (ਆਈਜੀਆਈ) ਦੇ ਟਰਮੀਨਲ ਟੀ 2 ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵਿਤ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਦੇ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ 'ਤੇ.
ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਿਆ, ਪਰ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡੀਆਈਐਲ ਨੇ ਸਪਾਈਸ ਜੈੱਟ ਨੂੰ ਭੀੜ ਕਾਰਨ ਟਰਮੀਨਲ ਟੀ 1 ਤੋਂ ਟਰਮੀਨਲ ਟੀ.ਟੀ. ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਤਕਰੇ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਤਿਹਾਈ ਟਰਾਂਸਫਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਮਗਰੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਟਰਮੀਨਲ ਟੀ 1 ਸਿਰਫ.
ਜਿਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਦੇ ਟਰਮੀਨਲ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਫਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਸਮਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ.
ਏਅਰ ਲਾਈਨਜ਼ ਆਪਰੇਟਰ ਨੇ ਦਲੀਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਯੋਜਨਾ (ਆਰਸੀਐਸ) ਅਧੀਨ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕਾਨਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਆਦਮਪੁਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਦੋ ਰੂਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਾਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਟਰਮੀਨਲ ਟੀ 2 ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ.
ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ. "ਟਰਮੀਨਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸੜਕ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ. ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਈਟ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਭੂਮੀਗਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਟੈਂਕੀ ਵੀ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ. ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਏਅਰ ਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਖਰੀ ਲਾਂਚ ਦੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, '' ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਰੂਟ 'ਤੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਜਹਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ 40 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕ ਦੁਆਬੇ .
ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇਕ ਸਾਲ 'ਚ ਅਡਮਪੁਰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਮਾਂ-ਅੰਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝ ਗਈ ਹੈ. 25 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸਮਾਂ-ਹੱਦ ਗੁਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਡਤ ਦੀਨਦਿਆਲ ਉਪਾਧਿਆਏ ਦੀ ਜਨਮ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਦੁਆਬਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਤੋਹਫਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ. ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਂਪਲਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਵੇਂ ਬਣੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ 2018 ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਲੰਬਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਲੈ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ

Despite spending Rs 18 cr on the construction of the domestic terminal at the Adampur airport in the last two years, there has been no news on the commencement of the proposed flight by Spicejet to Delhi.
Adampur airport, the much hyped project of the Union Minister of State for Social justice and Empowerment (MSJ&E) and BJP’s state president Vijay Sampla, seems to have landed in trouble after the airlines operator entered into a deadlock with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) over the operation of the proposed flight from terminal T2 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) at New Delhi.
Though the airline authorities could not be contacted, sources claimed that while DIAL has asked Spicejet to transfer one-third of its operations to terminal T2 from terminal T1 due to congestion, the latter refused to do so and was adamant on operating it from terminal T1 only.
While the district administration is through with the completion of the airport terminal, the commencement of the flights is expected to take some more time.
The airlines operator has reportedly argued that while it was allotted two routes, including Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh and Adampur in Jalandhar, under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) last year, there was no mention that it will be operated from terminal T2 only.
According to the DC Varinder Sharma, the infrastructure has been completed. “The terminal is ready, the acquisition process and the approach road are complete. We have even installed an underground water tank at the site. We are only waiting for the announcement of the final launch date by the airlines authorities,” said Sharma, adding that the route is expected to offer huge traffic potential to the airlines as over 40 per cent of the people travelling abroad from Punjab are from Doaba.
Adampur airport so far has missed numerous deadlines in the last one year. After missing its first deadline on September 25, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the BJP even fell short to offer the much-promised Diwali gift to Doaba region. While Sampla claimed that the operation of the newly constructed airport will begin early in 2018, the project may take long for final take-off.
