Pedda Amberpet Nagar Panchayath has been Constituted on 22.03.2013 by merging Pedda Amberpet Gram Panchayat and Three (3) Other Surrounding Gram Panchayats viz Kuntloor, Pasumamula and Tatti Annaram in Ranga Reddy District. The location of the Nagar Panchayat is proximity to the GHMC and very near to the Greater Hyderabad city i.e. about 10 km distance in East side. NH.65 pass through the Nagar Pa

nchayat H.Qs and the entire area of the Nagar Panchayat inside the Outer Ring Road. The extent of area of Pedda Amberpet Nagar Panchayath is 57 Sq. The Population of the Nagar Panchayath as per 2011 census is 27813. The Nagar Panchayat is part of Ibrahimpatnam Assembly Constituency and Bhongiri Loksabha constituency. Number of Education institutions are located in the jurisdiction of Nagar Panchayat. Drinking Water is being supplied from the Krishna river (Nagarjuna Sagar project). Central Reserve Forest around 2000 acres located in vicinity of the Nagar Panchayat. It is a transitional area i.e. people living in this area transforming from village culture to town and town to city, because of its location factor. Proximity to the Greater Hyderabad city, Advent of Metro rail project, strong public transportation system, very near to the ORR are the main motivating factors for speedy growth of town.
