Just 400 km from Hyderabad, she found the raw beauty of this hillstation, tucked deep within the lush Eastern Ghats of Andhra Pradesh. The drive itself was a dream – winding roads, gentle rain tapping the windows, and endless green stretching on either side. 🌲✨
As soon as we entered the Maredumilli forest, the scent of wet earth, chirping birds, and mist-covered trees wrapped around us like a warm blanket. Every corner looked like a scene from a postcard.
💧 The Amruthadhara Waterfalls were roaring in full flow – standing beneath them in the drizzle was pure bliss.
🏞️ At Sokuleru Vagu Viewpoint,we watched clouds float through the valley, feeling like we were on top of the world.
🌅 The calm at Bhupathipalem Reservoir during sunset was something I’ll never forget.
🍗 Oh, and don’t even get me started on the bamboo chicken– freshly cooked by locals right in the forest. A smoky, spicy delight!
This trip wasn’t just about sightseeing; it was about slowing down, breathing deeply, and soaking in nature at its best. If you’re craving an offbeat, peaceful monsoon getaway near Hyderabad, Maredumilli is calling.
📌 Best time to visit: July to September (Monsoon!)
