I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the Heritage Walk recently organized by IndiGo in Gwalior. It was an excellent initiative that provided deep insights into the legacy of our city, and we truly appreciate the team's effort in highlighting Gwalior’s cultural significance.
As the tourism and business landscape in Gwalior continues to evolve, I would like to offer a few strategic suggestions that could further enhance connectivity, boost local business, and prove highly profitable for IndiGo’s operations in the region.
Strategic Infrastructure & Route Recommendations:
1 Hangar Facilities: If feasible, we suggest planning 2–3 aircraft hangars at Gwalior. Establishing a base here would streamline operations and signify a long-term commitment to the region's growth.
2 Domestic Route Expansion: Based on local demand and travel patterns, we recommend the following circuits:
◦ Route 1: Gwalior (GWL) – Indore (IDR) – Pune (PNQ) – Indore (IDR) – Gwalior (GWL)
◦ Route 2: Gwalior (GWL) – Pune (PNQ) – Goa (GOI) – Pune (PNQ) – Gwalior (GWL)
◦ Route 3: Gwalior (GWL) – Hyderabad (HYD) – Gwalior (GWL)
3 International Connectivity: There is a growing appetite for direct international travel from the Gwalior-Chambal region. A direct link to Bangkok (BKK) would cater to both leisure and business segments effectively.
Gwalior has immense untapped potential, and enhanced connectivity through IndiGo would be a catalyst for the city's economic development while expanding your market share in Central India.
