Elephants love water! They need over 50 gallons of water per day to keep themselves hydrated. During the dry season when water locations dry up, they dig water holes until enough water can be sucked up by their trunks. In the above picture taken in , the cute elephants are doing just that.

Tanzania is a country with many tourist attractions. Approximately 38% of Tanzania's land area is set aside in protected areas for conservation. There are 16 national parks, 29 game reserves, 40 controlled conservation areas (including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area) and marine parks. A magnificent sight is the migration of the Wildebeest in the Serengeti & Wildebeest congregating for a river crossing. Zebra & Lions in the Selous Game Reserve, Elephants in the Ngorongoro Crater, Mt.kilimanjaro and the white sand beach of Zanzibar Island are some of the many wonderful experiences Tanzania has in store

Kenya lies on the equator and has a pleasant, tropical climate, but there are large regional climatic variations influenced by several factors, including altitude. Temperatures drop by about 6°C for every 1,000m you climb. Kenya’s daytime temperatures average between 20°C/68°F and 28°C/82°F, but it is warmer on the coast. The coast is hot and humid all year round, but the heat is tempered by the monsoon winds. Kenya is too close to the equator to experience a real winter and summer. There is, however, both a Dry and Wet season.

The white lion is a rare color mutation of the lion. White lions in the area of Timbavati were thought to have been indigenous to the Timbavati region of South Africa for centuries, although the earliest recorded sighting in this region was in 1938. Regarded as divine by locals, white lions first came to public attention in the 1970s, in Chris McBride's book "The White Lions of Timbavati".
